Community Room, Hanson Public Library

The Community Room is the primary meeting space at the Library. The room is shared with the Senior Center.
The room can accommodate approximately 40 people.
The length of a reservation can be from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Please note that the time you request for a reservation must include the time you will need to set up and clean up.
Reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance and must be made at least 3 days before the date of intended use. Reservations closer to the date of intended use are accommodated when possible but must be made by calling the Library at 781-293-2151.
All reservations must be approved by both Library and Senior Center staff.
Historical Room, Hanson Public Library

The Marie McLaughlin Historical Room houses the Library's collection of local historical materials. The room also serves as a meeting room and a study room.
No food or drink is allowed in this room.
The room can accommodate up to 8 people seated moderately spaced or 9-12 people seated closely spaced.
The length of a reservation can be from 15 minutes to 2 hours.
Reservations may be made up to 60 days in advance and must be made at least 1 day before the date of intended use. Same-day reservations are accommodated when possible but must be made by calling the Library at 781-293-2151.
All reservations must be approved by Library staff.
Senior Center, Hanson Public Library

The Senior Center has generously made their large open space available to groups for meetings outside of the Center's regular hours. The space may be used when the Community Room is unavailable.

The Study Room is a small space that has a built-in table which can accommodate up to 4 chairs. The room also houses the Hanson Public Library Friends ongoing book sale.
Please note that due to the room's configuration and space limitations, chairs can only be set up next to each other in a row at the built-in table, not opposing or facing each other.
